Sweatshirt Dress

Here's my favorite of my snowstorm creations, it was a hoodie pattern but I made it in dress length, made out of the cutest deer sweatshirt fleece that I bought from sewbaby.I never thought she'd love having a kangaroo pocket so much. We went to the bookstore today & she walked around with her little hands tucked in her pocket. Cutest. Thing. Ever.

  2. Adorable!!! I think Phoenix won't like this dress much...but maybe I can do the sweatshirt version.

P.S. This new camera you mentioned you got is FANTASTIC! What is it? My stupid camera is dying is very, very slow and painful death.

  8. This is ADORABLE! And So is Sam! She's precious. I love putting Ella's hair in those types of pigtails as well. By the way...that little pink doll in the photo, I had the SAME one as a child growing up. My mom saved it and Ella plays with it in FL. Is yours a new one??

  9. Ok a few comments...

1- Samster says thank you for all the wonderful compliments. Although I think they're going to her head, she kept wanting to model in front of the hairdryer after bathtime tonight.

2- Alex, yes the camera is new & yes I love it more than anything on this earth besides my spawn & husband. It's a canon rebel, I have to warn you they're a bit of an investment though. It was my husband & my Christmas present to eachother. I can't say enough good things about it though, all of my pics are taken on auto too. I'm no camera buff.

3- Char, your son has good taste. Perhaps we should set them up in a decade or so. (:

4- Melissa, yes!!! That is my doll from when I was a baby & my mom saved it too. That is so funny that you had it too!

  10. So Adorable!!! I too am addicted to the Little Blue Boo patterns. Do you think there is a 12 step program for this? Literally I am cutting up clothes I still wear because I am snowed in and can't get out to the stores. And thanks for turning me on to sewbaby! I love the printed sweatshirt fabric they have. Do you have a serger? I am looking to invest in one and I am curious as to which one everyone uses.

  11. This is actual the camera I've been lusting after and was just telling my husband the other day how much I wanted it...But my only drawback is it seems big and clunky to kind of carry with you (which is what I like to do) but I LOVE the way the pictures come out so maybe I can invest in the Rebel and a smaller one...But thanks for the tip!
