LOST Valentines Cards

My hubby sent this link to me because I'm a huge Lost fan & I literally laughed at loud...here are few of my favs...Hope that gave you a chuckle too (:

On a terrible procrastinator side note....does anyone have any good last minute ideas for what to make/give a man for Valentine's Day??? I made a really cute homemade card yesterday (I'll post pics later today) but I'm stumped as to what to give him! I can't show up empty handed. We've done the coupon thing...he loses them. I thought about embroidering something but really, what's he gonna do with an embroidered something. Hmmm. Homemade by Jill did post this really cute CD wallet that I love, maybe I could go old school and make him a mix tape (cd)? He does like mushly girly music. (I'm not lying when I tell you he hides a copy of 'The Bodyguard' soundtrack in his glove compartment)Please send along any ideas! We're back home from the hotel but got stuck in the snow driving into our neighborhood, I don't think I can get to a mall. last minute + blizzard = bad wifey.

  1. My husband loved FRUIT! Given the choice between and apple and a cookie he would pick the apple. (I know, he's weird!) So, I'm going to order him an edible arrangement. (actually, I'm going to pick it up, in the rain...) I don't know if you have seen these, but they are fruit carved to look like flower arrangements - I thought it was cute for a guy for valentine's day.

OR - if you have some oreos and chocolate- dip em!

Have fun and let us know what you do!

I found this idea on another blog and I'm currently drinking #4 of 6 grape crushes in order to make it happen. :) Sacrifices, you know.

  6. I have the same problem with ideas for my husband... so I did a "man" box of candy.
I have it on my blog at www.ascrapoftime.wordpress.com.
It literally only took about 20 minutes, if that. I gave it to my husband already (since he obviously saw it on the blog!) and he loved it!

    Good Luck!!

  7. Two thoughts-- 1) is he a hankerchief guy? Because some embroidered hankerchiefs (w/ some kind of manly embroidery) would be right up my husbands alley. 2) What about a "wallet clip?" My husband uses a binder clip and despite the nice silver ones i've bought him over the years he always goes back to the binder clip. There must be some way to take a binder clip and embellish it to turn it into a cool gift, instead of a shameful wallet. I don't have any specific ideas for *how* to do this but maybe these will at least get the juices flowing.

  11. Some quick things I'm doing for my husband, or have done in years past:
*A scavenger hunt in the house, at the end is something special.
*Love notes hidden in places around the house, each one with a cryptic clue of where he can find the next note.
*"52 things I love about you" book, made out of a deck of cards. (they have ideas online)
*Red and Pink dinner. Everything on the menu is pink or red.
Recreate your first date... wear the same clothes, go to the same restaurant, watch the same movie... etc.
*Each of you rent your fav. childhood movie and pop a bag of popcorn. Hopefully it sparks a lot of fun conversation.
*Make a story using a few candy bars. It can be funny or meaningful. Google "candy bar story" or check out

    Good luck!
Oh, one thing I'm doing is giving my husband back one of his blankets I "stole" from him a couple years ago. It is the softest, most comfortable blanket ever and I stole it from him and have slept with it every night. I washed it and am wrapping it up to give back to him!
