Mommy Makeover

I've been in dire need to get my hair done for quite some time now.

Long story short my hairdresser stood me up at my last appointment, 4 mths ago maybe, & I never got so much as an apology from her. I sat in that darn chair for more than 45 min until finally the salon manager came out and told me they couldn't get in touch with her & gave me a gift certificate for my next visit. Well, I've been holding a bit of a grudge since then, after all I had been seeing her for 3 years now but today P finally gave me the nudge out the door to go to the salon & get my hair done so I'd feel pretty. He knows me so well.

Ahhh, much better. Although a bit redder than I wanted, I wanted more of a golden warm brown. I brought in this picture of Leighton Meester...

It's been super rainy & cold here for the past week but between having my hair done & P having a fire in the fireplace when I got home it turned into a wonderfully warm & cozy evening.

Oh, and I stuffed my face with apple crisp.

I used the apples that we picked last weekend & this Martha Stewart recipe, it was really easy (I am SO not a baker) & yummmmm...
