I became a godmother and he went to a stripclub.

That was our weekend, how was yours?

Ok, I'll explain...

On Friday P, Samster and I all flew down to Tampa for the weekend. After that however our weekends had NOTHING in common. He had a weekend bachelor party outing to go to, which honestly I don't mind AT ALL because P never goes out with the guys. I was really excited for him to hang out with friends and actually relax for a few days. Turns out that they ended up going out until 4:20am! He says he was an angel and I believe him if for no other reason than that I know his idea of a good time is going to bed early and watching Whale Wars. My boy's tolerance level isn't quite what it used to be. No offense Boo.

Oh, and there was an anteater at the bachelor party. Yes, I said an anteater. Don't believe me?

Quite on the other hand Sam and I drove to Orlando to visit my best friend Brooke, her 2 yr old Ava and the newest little member of their family 3 wk old Serena...

Isn't she beautiful?!! I made her that headband out of really soft elasticized lace trim, hmm, I should maybe do a tutorial for those, they're perfect for bald newbies. I also made this diaper case and wipes clutch & a couple of burp cloths for Brooke.
What really made my day though is Brooke asked me to be Serena's godmother! I've never been a godmother before but I assume that means I get first rights to spoil this little princess ROTTEN!
After some wonderfully yummy pizza, Samster and Ava had a good time with the cheesy bread, we drove back to Tampa, picked up a very very tired daddy and got on a plane back to D.C.

Whew, seeing friends is nice but I'm so happy to be home! (:
