Do you know what I am??

I made this over the weekend, when I asked my husband to guess what it was I was so surprised that he was completely stumped! Actually he did finally come up with "is it a bottle holder attachment for your belt? You know, for when you're going upstairs and your hands are full?"
Um, no. Sorry, hon.

I wanted to see if you guys could tell, it's something I made out of a necessity & so far it's worked like a charm. I never seen anything like it in stores & am starting to contemplate the thought that I might be quite the genius. (...maybe, probably not but don't burst my bubble just yet)

If you have a guess leave a comment, for the first person who guesses correctly I'll make one for you! (if you can use it!).

Then on Thursday I'll give you the answer & a tutorial to make your own. I think I might even through a few in the etsy shop if anyone's interested...

On another note we've finally had a taste of sunshine & man, oh, man is it NICE. That's why I haven't blogged since Saturday, we've been soaking up every minute we could! The sunshine even called to Samster Daddy that he needed to wash my car. Nice daddy.
I couldn't get Samster to come inside either, she just walked up & down the sidewalk, over & over, & insisted on wearing her rainboots...of course. It's going to blow her little mind when it's finally warm enough that I can turn her loose in the backyard. I can't wait for summer!

  1. Maybe it's a paci holder!? I have been needing to make one for our little ones crib!

  2. Is it to attach to a stroller to hold a sippy cup or your keys? Or maybe some how it sits below your sewing machine to collect all your garbage scraps and threads. I'm dying to find out!

  9. I came by hoping someone had already guessed correctly...bike basket for Samster?

  10. A Bottle holder for a car seat or pram? I need one of these! Lol

  11. I think it's a cup/water bottle holder your daughter's big wheel/bike/etc.

  12. Is it a toilet paper holder so babies (and cats) can't unravel the tp in the bathroom?

Either that or a cup holder for the stroller.

  13. Yeah I think I'm going with sippy cup holder too, for grocery cart or stroller? Looks cute whatever it's for. :)

  14. My first thought was for the grocery cart. Cup holder would be perfect and not just for kids! Put my coffee in there and let me zoom in and out like Wonder Woman! OR if I get to go grocery shopping with the kids at home w/ hubby then let me just slowly stroll and sip my coffee. :)

  15. Starbucks carrier for a shopping cart? I know I need something like that when I want to drink my latte as I walk through Target.

  16. I'm guessing it's a sippy holder for on the crib rail/toddler bed head board. That way when Samster gets thirsty she doesn't have to cry out all night long!

  17. Clothes pin holder, I'm going old school here

    ReplyDelete
  18. I say a cup holder for your shopping cart/stroller, etc.

  19. is it a cup/sippy/bottle holder for your stroller?

AUUUGH I CANT WAIT FOR SUMMER EITHER. I am SO. RIDICULOUSLY. EXCITED. Nicole(2) is all about swimming lately. Like, we take her to the pool, strap a lifejacket on her, and toss her in. Then she spends the next hour evading us (I DO IT SELF!) and screaming "I'M SWIMMING! I'M SWIMMING!" That is every friday evening.
Every saturday morning she says, "Mom, I want to go swimming!" And then it becomes a countdown on how many sleeps until the next friday. lol.
So I just CAN NOT WAIT until I can set up our little pool in the backyard and she can 'go swimming' every day!
Plus I'm going to be second trimester in summer and that makes me happy. Second trimester = bliss.

  20. My guess would be a sippy cup holder for the crib/ toddler bed. No need to wake in the middle of the night for a drink.

  21. It looks like one of those PBK's Easter baskets that are soft that they hang off the back of chairs... I know thats probably not it cause its not NEEDED but maybe it can be duel purpose :) Very cute!

  22. It is so cute, and definitely appears to be a cup holder to attach to the anywhere and everywhere! looks like it could be storage contraption for all little things alike! I love it :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I would guess that it goes on a bike to hold a water bottle. haha or the attachment to a crib.

  24. i was thinking it was a way to cute scrap basket while sewing so you don't have all the treads all over!

but I guess it would work better as a holder for shopping cart or stroller too!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I saw someone else guess this too, but the first thing that came to my mind was a scrap basket to stash thread or trimmed fabric ends in, while you're sewing. I was once given something similar to try and really loved it, but then, I had to return it and was given the pattern in exchange. Unfortunately, I've always found more things that I'd like to make more.

  26. I was thinking it was a cup holder for the Samster's carseat. Reaching back and handing it off can be tricky. Hmm or maybe it is a "hip bag" not a butt bag :)

PS Congrats on the new baby! I love how you told the Grandparents!

  27. a baby moniter holder - for when you are moving thru the house?

Or I was thinking a sippy holder too.....

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm guessing a baby moniter holder for the new baby so you can be outside in the great weather with Sam!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm guessing it's a bag to hang on the crib and hold toys?! I hope I'm right! it's way too cute :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'm guessing stroller attachment, too....

    ReplyDelete
  31. A cup holder for Sam's new bed? Or... and this is totally random... but a plant hanger for your kitchen window (for herbs). Whatever it is, it's super cute! :)

  32. Is it for you to keep your crafting tools in that you need to keep handy? Like scissors, pencils, chalk, etc.

  33. It could be a cup holder for Samster's tricycle. :) I can't wait for warm weather either!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I didn't read the other comments (so I don't know if someone has already guessed this) but do you hang it on the side of the crib for blankets/toys/whatever? Cause I could really use one of those or instructions on how to make one because they don't sell them in stores! I've seen them online, I think, as part of those really pricey crib sets, but I thought about just trying to "wing it" and make one myself.

  35. It looks like a toilet paper keeper. I vaguely remember seeing something like it in a crochet tutorial but nothing in a sewn version.

  36. i reckon its a snack holder for shopping trolley :D

  37. I'm guessing the stroller cup-holder, too.
Had to laugh at those boots... my son threw a mini-fit when I didn't get him those. I didn't know how I'd explain pink Hello Kitty to my husband... we ended up with yellow boots instead and they are ALWAYS on! :)

  38. I LOVE her rain boots! It is bad that I've been wanting a cute pair of my own so when it rains I can just be careless for one day and splash in the rain? Guess that's what So Cal weather will do to you!

I can't wait for you to reveal what it is, cause I have no clue!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm going to guess it is a stylish doggie-doo bag holder attachment for a stoller. Not that you would put the dog doo in this cute thing, but the bags to hold the doo. Does that make sense?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I have no idea what it could be (snack holder??), but just had to comment that Sam is soooo cute! P.S. had no other option but to select anonymous (i don't have any options)

    ReplyDelete
  41. i think it is a bottle holder for samsters bike. (not sure if this is already guessed) i have been looking for one for my boys...hmmm...might have to borrow this idea to make one for them!

  42. It is attached to a baby carriage to hold Mom's ever present and very necessary silver mint julep cup filled to the brim with a strong adult beverage.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think it is a snack bag for Miss Samster so her cheerios dn't fly all over!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. All of my thoughts have been guessed alreay. Doesn't hubby know there won't be all those bottle at your house this time around?

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would use it as a cell phone holder for the stroller. Whatever it is, it's super-cute!

    ReplyDelete
  46. It's a holder for your starbucks that you attach to your shopping cart at the grocery store! I need one of those!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm going to say a cell phone holder for WHEREVER... belt, stroller, attached to a purse... etc

    ReplyDelete
  48. I haven't read through all the answers so I am prob not the first to suggest this, but I think it is a snack holder for a shopping trolley so samster doesn't. Chuck the snack bag / box over the side and onto the floor lol If that is what it is you ARE a genius and I need one of those!

    ReplyDelete
  49. This may sound silly, but is it a protective cell phone holder for when your pants don't have pockets? Cell phones are getting sooo much bigger these days and sometimes pockets are just too small and you don't want to always carry a purse!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think it's a cup holder for those strollers that don't have a tray with one built in. I'm sure that whatever it is, I will need one! Can't wait for the tute!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I am guessing a cup holder for a stroller. With the weather looking SO nice where you live, I bet you're out walking.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm guessing a paci holder for the side of the crib. I don't know about you but every other night or so, we have to go on a paci hunt underneath the crib and the surrounding area for all the lost pacifiers.

  53. My first thought when I saw it was a bike basket for your daughter? I see that LuckyStarHeather had the same thought!
