Cherry Blossoms

At times like this I truly love living in Washington D.C....My in-laws are in town & every year we like to take them to see the Cherry blossoms, lucky for us this year was not only the kickoff of the Cherry Blossom Festival but also National Kite Flying day, it was actually really neat, there were hundreds of them! There were sweet potato fries so that made the day a hit by Samster standards. And do you like her cherry blossom headband? It's actually from this rose headband post/tutorial but I thought they could pass as cherry blossoms for the day...
I love her.

On another note- Have you ever tried the Alexia frozen sweet potato fries? I just tried the spicy ones and oh my god they are delicious!

  13. Your daughter is gorgeous! I love the pictures with the cherry blossoms.

On another note, I happened to find your blog by accident and after reading a few of your posts, I realized you were THAT Natasha - I listen to your husband's morning show everyday. I absolutely love this blog and can't wait to try out some of your projects.

  14. Great pics! What kind of camera do you have?

  15. It's a Canon Rebel, a bit of an investment but worth every penny. I just wish we would've taken the plunge when Samster was first born. Also the extreme close ups were done with a macro lens that was our Vday present to eachother but just the camera alone does an amazing job. Totally recommend it!

  16. I have a Canon Rebel Xti that's about 3 yrs old now. I got it when my son was born, about 50k photos later (I have his every move documented! LOL!)it's crapping out. I'm going to invest in the Canon 7D and some new more expensive lenses . I want more professional type photos.

  17. Hey, I'm new to reading your blog and didn't realize you were in the DC area too. I was there the day of the kite festival with my kids as well and even ventured back on Friday (craziest day to ride the Metro), to see the blossoms in all their gorgeousness.
