She's sassy, she's green & she's extinct. But man, did she have a good fashion sense!
I'm totally addicted to freezer paper stenciling, it looks like professional screenprinting right at home. All you do is cut out the stencil from freezer paper, iron it on waxy side down, fill in with some fabric paint & once it's dry peel it away to see your great design. For each color just use a different stencil and work in layers being sure to let each dry completely before adding the next.
Below are the stencils for 'Divasaurus', have fun and be careful...she bites.
That is so darn cute! I love her little pink purse. Too precious.

ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I want to make one for my niece, but the stencil doesn't enlarge when I click on the picture. I'm sure it's just my computer, but is there any way you could e-mail it to me? rotheroni@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteok, stupid question....is freezer paper the same thing as wax paper? and if not where can I find it???
ReplyDeleteHi Stacey, not a dumb question at all!
ReplyDeleteNo it's not the same as wax paper. At least I'm pretty sure it's not...
It's called "Freezer Paper", mine is by Reynold's (like the foil, or plastic wrap) & I found it at the grocery store in the food storage area.
Good luck!
